This was the first AOE map I ever played, or the only map that was playable on AOE - Rise of Rome Demo. Good Game.

I remember playing this map because it was the only one on the demo back in 1999 with my very 1st computer. I played that single map since prob 8am to 9pm 😂. I was 12 back then and had no idea what I was doing but I eventually defeated them.

Exactly my age and when I was playing the demo as well xD. I never understood why those missions weren't on the full game when I finally got it.

Do the Roman's have stone and gold reserves in thier base? I know the regulus(red) guys do. I usually only can get to the one near the secret army but I don't think on the northwest section there is either but on their base they might have some. Usually I don't attack them intill I have a sizeable Navy.

Yes they do, I think a lot on this map is also up to luck, but it's for sure one of the hardest missions in the entire game.

@@Rtheghost nice! This is my favorite map on this game, its very nostalgic for me, playing it on my family's windows 98 computer. Even though it's only on the demo, not on the main game disc.
