RTI C grade 6.5 Carcano Long Rifle

Thanks for posting this, I’ve been looking into getting a Cgrade and didn’t know how bad they may look

@ dang the bore is pretty bad, I have 4 1891 carcanos and all are Bgrade purchases the bores are range from very good to good on them

Good show man! Made my day. This will clean up awesome and it's mostly all there. The toe is an easy repair:). It's this the model with progressive twist rifling? Never cared for the cavalry carbine carcanos but the long ones are perfect. Rti has been slow lately, still waiting on a no5 to ship..

I’d like to get a carcano but think I’ll go with either B grade or better not that you can’t get a decent c grade. Wish I got on the Calvary carbine sale

@wildoats1903 I'm not out too much $$ @$149 but after cleaning i can tell the bore is trash. That sucks!

@ well Atleast your not too deep into it same thing happened to me when I got a warehouse special enfield. I think they might still have the TS carbines for 150 they are B grades from the last I checked

@@wildoats1903 As long as they come from Italy, they should be fine.

@wildoats1903 I got pretty lucky on all of my C grade Enfields which is why I took a chance on the Carcano Long Rifle. I meant it's ok, I wanted one and this one is cleaning up ok .Just wish it was a shooter. It's all good, for $149 ive still got a decent looking Rifle from 1917!! Lol

@ if I had a way to post here I would. I got a B grade K98 from them that cleaned up really great good bore and had quite a few German waffenampts on it too I think they ran out but heard there was more coming they were 399 I’m happy with mine will be a good shooter. And got a US M1917 b grade over the summer that had a pristine bore just some cosmetic wear but cleaned up great ! Got that one for under 500

I want a 6.5 Carcano long rifle and unfortunately RTI is the only place that has the long version. I might just get a B grade.

@westcoastplinkin6559 if you want a good bore you'd probably be better off but from what I've seen even the B grades can have bad bores. Either way it's a crap shoot...lol good luck!

@@KH2837 Yup, they also have the 350 ones and from the reviews it seems people are pretty happy with them. Idk, we'll see, I just hate that RTI is basically the only one selling the long version.
