So when I was working with Mr Shryock, and he would come in and mention that they car was loose. When what I was witnessing, was showing me it was tight. And we made six different adjustments with the car five minutes before the feature. I should believe what I see not necessarily what Kelly was saying it was doing. More than likely what I was witnessing was what was actually taking place. Due to the fact not only I had worked on dirt cars for for around 20 years when I began working with him at Fayetteville Arkansas in 2002. I had also been an automotive mechanic for the same amount of time. So I had a trained eye to see things that a lot of people wouldn't normally notice. That is in part why I had worked with drivers like my mentor Terry Downing, Gerg Skaggs, Rex Merritt, Mark Noble. As well as been able to learn from a Larry Phillips, or a Bud Purkey, or Billy Moyer Sr. just to name some of the folks I either worked with or got to learn from in the dirt track racing world. Or why my dirt racing mentor Terry Downing gave me the handle name The Crew Chief. Which is way better than HappyCamper...😂
