"Take a Ride" will take you back straight to the 1995 G-Funk era where sounds of Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Warren G and 2Pac took the rap scene. The song also features Nanci Fletcher, a Death Row Records Queen of G-Funk hooks who worked on such classics as Doggystyle and All Eyez On Me.
