A huge thank you for being so open and sharing . The modern way you re-create the classic synths and rush in general is eye opening to us geezers still using analog gear. Btw , sidenote on the last live stream , your vocals keep improving each time I see you , not an easy task . Any possibility of a future video on pulling off the geddy style of vocal.

Hi Erik. It's one of the things I get asked about the most. The struggle will be to make it interesting, since it's not as visual as guitar or synth stuff. I'll see what I can do.

Awesome job! Love learning about the RUSH stuff. ANy tips on making the Taurus sound on the Retro Synth? I get close but still not right. Looking for the trees type sound on the bass pedal.

👏👏👏 Very good, I would like to see the equipment connection chain to create some specific sounds.

Hi Luiz. I'm not quite sure what you're asking for. Do you mean the instrument and FX settings for sounds?
@luiza.8216 Жыл бұрын
@@TheRushTributeProject Thanks for reply, yes the instrument and FX settings for sounds.

Love you folks! What's the red bass you play? Love your road worn Riki too!

The Rick is the same age as I am, and looks about how I feel some days. The red bass is a Wal Mk2 replica from Octave Basses. It's amazing. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064669306656

Any latency issues running laptop to keyboard/pedals?
@TheRushTributeProject Жыл бұрын
No. MIDI messages are so small, they take very little time to send. The laptop needs to be fairly powerful to handle all the simultaneous triggering, but a modern i5 with 16GB of RAM has worked great.
