Not going to happen, i think. 99% HSR will be located in Iskandar Puteri … Unless, LRT from city to Iskandar puteri, but it will take decades to complete…

Entire JB needs better landscaping, It looks so unorganised, no walkways to walk, buses to connect to residential apartments. A lot more low hanging fruit that can be done while waiting for RTS to be finished.

The RTS Link is expected to start passenger service by the end of 2026. It aims to ease traffic congestion on the Causeway - one of the world's busiest border crossings - by ferrying up to 10,000 passengers an hour each way on a journey that takes about five minutes. It is estimated to cost RM10 billion (US$2.15 billion), with Singapore bearing 61 per cent of the cost.

MBJB is slow learner, don't expect them to learn and apply many good things being done at our nearest developed & advance city country neigbour, especially related to public transport system and facilities. Currently, the road traffic congestion is very2 bad now, during peak hour and holiday at CIQ and JB sentral pick up drop off point. RTS station will need to handle 10k travellers per hour, for each direction. Without proper and efficient public transport system linking RTS station to other parts of jb city, just imagine the chaos at the RTS station, Most of the travellers will stuck few hours at the station, if only depending with the existing unefficient & unreliable public transport system.
