They literally listed key factors in the beginning (prior to the transformation, the moment and impact ect ect.) Nah, I don't wanna be ripping my hair out...these guys have such emotional/nostalgia, it distorts reality of what is and isn't the best animes. Rob will definitely put an anime like Boruto on the list, while not putting Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on the list at all. Evan doesn't even watch enough anime to formulate an accurate opinion! Jerry is so infatuated with Fairy Tail, you know it will make its way into his top 10 just on bias. And I wouldn't be surprise at all to see Dragon Ball Z on everybody's list, even though it isn't even a top 25 anime of all-time.....also, new Gen anime that have only dropped a season or two and are ongoing, will have recency bias and definitely make a list (Demon Slayer, Hell's Paradise, Chainsaw Man, Jujitsu Kaisen).

1- Goku SSJ1 Iconic af 2- Luffy Gear 5, a moment that have been waited for arguably the most. 3- Naruto Kurama mode, not a huge fan of Shippuden. But that moment was fire. 4- Gon, not expected at all epic 5- Gohan SSJ2, Finally reaching his potential that Goku knew about. 6-Goku SSJ3, as funny how long it took to transform, that form is majestic and undeniable. 7- Killua, bro really took his stress on a royal guard. 8- MUI Goku, after all the boring SSG transformations. We finally got a truly respectable transformation. 9- Luffy Gear 4, the way he started handling Doffy was immaculate. 10- Vegeta SSJ, showing an android the meaning of fear is chief kiss.

I've seen people say that Pain can beat Ulquiorra which is just...no lmao Edo Tensei Nagato would be much more challenging than Pain tbh. Because I very highly doubt that 😂 There are definitely some One Piece characters that can give some Naruto characters a run for their money and Kaido is one of them. Ninja in Naruto have the advantage due to having hacks and more versatility with the usage of chakra but One Piece characters have *insane* durability and endurance. I'm not saying that I don't think Pain couldn't provide some sort of challenge but in terms of one shotting Kaido got it. All it would take to end Pain would be one clean hit.

Kabuto himself (the smartest character in Naruto by a wide variety of meanings) claims that Pain could create a planetoid meaning he can create a moon sized planetary devastation and that move can seal up to the 7 tails as far as we saw with Naruto. Now one piece characters are durable, but not as durable as u want to claim. The HIGHEST scaling for a one piece top tier is Continental and that's still an overwank, but to prove a point, I'll say multi continental. One moon sized planetary devastation can seal surface wipers when it's not six Paths enhanced like the one used against Kaguya. Let's overwank kaido and say he reaches that multi C level at his peak. Do you think he can destroy a gravity well strong enough to seal beings more powerful than him? And u just ignored the infinite respawn from hell that was actually shown in the series, not to mention the soul steal. Kaido touches pain, he's actually clapping himself because the soul stealer would draw with him while the others are still alive and it can respawn using the king of hell, or even say Nagato is the one fighting and that actually ggs Kaido due to self destruct. And let's not even talk about the ultimate shinra Tensei that pain used to destroy an entire village and BLOCK Kurama Naruto's Biji blasts that were strong enough to level mountains. That was a WEAK version of Pain, let alone Nagato who was so strong he could body full Biji bee, kcm Naruto, and Itachi at the same time! 2 of which are confirmed planetary, or if you wanna underscale, surface wipers! Again, I overwanked Kaido to multi C yet you have Nagato bodying surface wipers simultaneously! Imagine his shinra Tensei and chibaku Tensei! The scale difference is too massive

Despite the hype and how cool they looked and worked, Gon´s transformation and Baryon mode came out from nowhere. No training arc, no explanation, no build up. Just deux ex-machinas. Ichigo trained months in order to get the final getsuga, we got plot about it, we had dialogue and scenes with zangetsu and all of this started several episodes before the transformation. Also it was the conclusion of the main fight of the show and against de main villain of the series. Gon fought against a side villain out of the main events of the arc (that happened around meruem) and Jigen is not even close in terms of trascendance as a villain as they were Orochimaru, Pain, Madara or Obito.

If there is no hint about this way to use Nen in the entire series they are setting a new rule coming from nowhere. It´s easy to understand. When you are building a fantasy world you need to set some rules in order to make the viewer understand what can be done and what can´t. A good plot and storytelling should be able to hint this kind of power at some point BEFORE in order to justify this scene, but they chose to explain it at the moment it happened because they wanted to make it more surprising.

Gear 5 is amazing and means so much more for Luffy’s character than Super Saiyan for Goku. Goku just gets mad, hair color changes, and he gets stronger…. nooo you still have silver chariot also. pucci MIH, and i’m sure there’s more in the manga and even the video game (that the author confirmed himself). also GER wasn’t only able to put you in an infinite death loop. but he’s the ultimate defense. giorno can sleep and GER would still neg you. also he has RTZ where he can reset any move or willpower of a person to 0. the world over heaven is stronger than GER.

I don't even know what asspull means but yeah I agree with the others. No way is it #1. DBZ might not be my favorite anime anymore but the SSJ Goku transformation is legendary. I actually enjoy Gohan's SSJ2 more but understand the impact and importance of Goku's. It changed the series and shonen forever.@@jamil1022

I don’t think Denji is the best pick for a #10 but he’s definitely not the worst. If you wanna classify it as a HUMAN transforming into a DEVIL that’s cool, but even throughout the show he has to rev up the lever in his chest to fully TRANSFORM into chainsaw man. Although there wasn’t much buildup to the transformation since it was ep1, I think they used that to their advantage to raise the shock value. I don’t think anyone saw Denji/Pochitas ‘death’ coming at all or could’ve predicted it mid episode. And the transformation itself signifies Denjis freedom. Like Evan said, the terms and conditions were that Denji had to live his life chasing his dreams if he wanted Pochitas power, and throughout the show we see him doing just that. He even mentions multiple times that he’s doing so for Pochita. It was an emotional moment that set up the rest of the series beautifully, there’s a reason Chainsaw man story is held in such high regard. I haven’t read the manga but I do feel that the anime delivered the prologue of the story very well. Nice pick Evan!
