Seems to me he got his priorities down xD Overall, despite what a lot of people say about this episode, I thought it was a nice balance of everything especially with the comedy and romance. The Sokka moments had me dying!

Aang was told the literal fate of the world. The future of everything that lay in balance is in your hands the very existence of the earth lays on your shoulders and he like ... yeah but what bout the bitches. A lot of the stuff sokka goes through is brought on by his lack of faith and his attitude. This episode did play with the ability to change your fate and destiny kinda like the difference between science and magic in the marvel universe. Where is the line where does it change what can you change what can’t you change. A lot of people would count this as filler but I feel it moves the narrative along between katara and aang instead of the big story.

Fun fact: When Aang asks if anyone is a bender, you’ll notice the twin who’s an earthbender doesn’t wear shoes, but the twin who can’t does. So-as to be more in tune with his element.

It's really up on the air about whether she was the real deal. Her fortune about Aang's future could have been easily tailored to the only Airbender kid walking around. It's possible she's making it up as she goes. Guessing it'll rain isn't that hard either. And she has a bunch of self fulfilling prophecies or things that can be guessed at but not checked for a long time.

I'm not sure about Aang's future. There hasn't been airbenders for quite awhile, not to mention she was certainly surprised by how the fire and bone react.

@@sneakysneakyraccoon8538 People have heard the Avatar is back, remember? The Fire Nation is mobilizing to get him. He's wearing weird robes, has Airbending tattoos, a glider, e.t.c. It's not hard to figure out for someone who might have read a history book or two. And you can't take a fortune teller's performance during the reading as real. The hand waving the "oooooh! I'm communing with the spirits! I see a tall dark stranger! It's so powerful I'm on the verge of fainting."- style performance are a trope, even. She could easily be playing it up. If she wants to retain/cement her power, that's exactly what she would have to do. That's part of the showmanship of fortune telling. But...also...imagine if she could get the impressionable young Avatar to vouch and advertise for her? She's already got the run of one town. Her name could be known and respected far and wide. Remember, the story ends up reaching the heart of the Fire Nation and performed. There's ample reason she could still be a charlatan.
