The familys powers are kind of based on family stereotypes: Dad: Always the anchor, dependable. Super strong and invincible Mom: Able to handle a hundred things at once, stretch to adapt to different needs for the family. Literally stretches Teenage daughter: Shuts herself away from the world and wants to go unnoticed (force fields and invisibility) Child son: Full of energy and rambunctious (super speed) Baby: Full of untapped potential, babies can grow to become anything. So jack-jack is a shapeshifter, he can literally become anything

Sad fact: Its implied ,and speculated by fans, that the island Syndrome has is actually the former base of the superhero team *The Phantasmics* And that both Macroblast and Gazerbeam were former members. The former likely answered the distress call of his old team and was able to destroy the Omnidroid I, but was unprepared/too injured for the Omnidroid II which ended up killing him. And the latter being a former member explains how he was able to evade Syndrome's considerable defenses and leave a clue to his plan. He likely knew the island like the back of his hand.

You know what's kind of scary? Frozone was pretty much set up to die for a multitude of reasons: 1. Syndrome was originally targeting Frozone before Mr. Incredible came into the picture. 2. The Omnidroid Mr. Incredible fought in the jungle pushed him into the volcano, a place where there's little to no moisture to freeze.

Every superheroes’ powers is based off the characters from the Marvel or DC Comics, like Elastigirl, who can fully stretch her body like Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards, the daughter with the force field and invisibility like Fantastic Four’s Sue Storm, the eldest son having a superhuman speed like Quicksilver or the Flash, Frozone’s ice manipulation powers like the X-Men’s Iceman, and Gazerbeam’s laser vision just like X-Men’s Cyclops.

An unnoticed detail by many, the bonb in the beginning gets stuck to buddies cape causing him to not feel or notice it. Another reason for, "NO CAPES" maybe if buddy wasnt so full of himself and realized that thats why mr incredibke stopped him, was to save his life, then hed have realized capes are a no go. Ironic thats how he ended up dying

Friendly reminder that if Mr.Incredible hadn't been with Frozone that night, his best friend would have been next to be killed by a supervillain *he* created. The Omnidroid even pulls Mr.Incredible into a volcano, a place where, as we saw in the burning building, Frozone would have been quickly rendered powerless. It was alredy bad enough that his colleagues, friends, people who were AT HIS WEDDING were sistematically killed off by Syndrome to improve the Omnidroid. Hell, the only reason Syndrome couldn't find Bob/Mr. Incredible and his family is because they kept moving Props to Gazerbeam for being able to infiltrate the base and leave behind thd clue needed to figure it out

That's what I was thinking. Elastigirl probably gave her husband a lot crap for constantly having to relocate the family not realizing they were juking out a serial killer the whole time. Mr. Incredible isn't perfect, but he was doing a great job.

Syndrome imo is the best Pixar villain, he’s basically Megamind in another universe. A genius who became evil out of jealously and wanted the entire world to see him as a hero. His reasoning for becoming a villain is so ridiculous that the movie did a great job at making you hate and be annoyed with his character. Literally if he was a hero, he would be the most resourceful and powerful considering how intelligent he is when it comes to building gadgets, devices with anti-gravity, and giant robots. Easily one of the best and most iconic 3D animated films of all time. I’m pretty sure this movie was what also popularized the whole superhero family trope. The dialogue, comedy, fight sequences, characters, and suspense all made this movie a 10/10. They also weren’t afraid to show characters dying too. This movie is timeless and it aged perfectly. It’s a shame they don’t make 3D animated films like this anymore.

Fun fact: Despite Bob/Mr. Incredible saying that nobody wants to be a superhero 24/7 , there was the hero Universal Man, who was so deeply insecure that he never wanted anyone to see him without his costume & mask on. He was a very deeply troubled person and was one of the first supers to be killed by the Omnidroid, despite how OP his ability is, likely due to being caught off guard by it.

The second move got an 7.5/10 IMDb with 93% rotten tomatoes. Obviously, the IMDb went down on the second movie, but it still did well. That's why they're making a 3rd movie. And the second movie got 1billion in box office while the first one got 631 million.

2nd fav Pixar movie for me personally. Oh btw, a short came with this movie about what happened with the babysitter and Jack Jack lol. It did come with the DVD set. It does end with Syndrome showing up and the babysitter just handing him over due to how traumatized she was. The sibling dynamic between Violet and Dash reminded me SO much of how one of my brothers and I were when we were younger and I was 11 when my youngest brother was born so seeing this movie was like looking into a sibling mirror lol. Like all 3 of us did have our issues but we still love each other at the end of the day and we have our own 'sibling code' because over the years we ended up trying to help each other from getting in trouble with our parents lol.

I liked it when one of you said something about the teacher talking to the kid in such a way. I have never seen anyone say anything about that, and that really upsets me, too. I wouldn't allow anyone to talk to my child anywhere close to how that teacher spoke. I also liked it when another mentioned how Violet needs to be careful by the way she was talking to her mom.... I told my Gringo husband....um...that's a spanking right there... on such scenes when I see kiddies pass the line. You'll make great parents! Fathers who correct!
