Kwame Nkrumah meant different things to different peoples in Ghana. The Ashantis have every right to dislike Kwame Nkrumah. He took the great Ashanti confederacy and split it apart. He imprisoned very important Ashantis , a lot of whom died. In any case, since when are Ghanaians not allowed to express their views on the performance of their leaders? I admire Nkrumah for the developments he did in Ghana, but he was an extremely wicked man, only surpassed by Rawlings. Ghanaians were generally happy when he was overthrown. I was 35 years old when it happened sand understood what was going on. Mr. Speaker, why do you hate everything Ashanti?
