One thing to note DLSS is amazing. It makes the 2060 able to max out the settings in games even today. (Was extra surprised by Atomic Heart, extremely demanding and not the best optimized game out there.)

Yea last year bought 2060 setup with a 10105f it's perfect for games upto 2018. But my CPU gets bottlenecked for games released beyond 2018 the 2060 tho still does wonders.

It shouldn't be that low. Yeah there's a very slight Cpu bottleneck compared to the 13th gen i5. But the i310100f is perfectly fine with a 2060 and shouldn't be getting 40fps on Elden Ring when the combo usually doesn't dip below 54fps. My main guess would be Elden Ring isn't optimized the best for 4 core CPUs. But there are other factors like RAM, GPU/CPU temp. Etc. 8gb of ram isn't enough nowadays and id say minimum is 16gb of ram. If you exceed temps of 90°C plus your GPU/CPU will start to limit performance. All GPUs age differently so it could just mean your card is starting to show its age.

You will just have a huge hit to FPS if you crank the textures up from low/medium, you will still be able to play the game.

@@SalvatoreCannistraro099 nah, these two games have literally the worst optimisation in games like ever, people with the best pcs couldnt play jedi survivor on 60 fps with their 4090s and last of us was eating 12gb vram for literally no reason lol its crazy but yeah just really really bad optimisation but if you have rtx 2060 i think yes it is time to upgrade or just play the games on lower settings like on medium (ultra settings are absolutely not necessary, you need more than 6gb of vram only if you want to play the newest games on very high ultra settings)

Huh my mobile 2060 runs 2077 and Odyssey better. Odyssey runs at an almost locked 60 at the highest settings for me. Only drops to 50-55 when I am able to see everything from high places. And you can stop the light artifacts in 2077 by changing the color accuracy setting if I remember right.

A good GPU even now, but there is one drawback - 6GB of VRAM. Many of the games in this video use about 5GB VRAM with recording so if you running other programs/stream/use second monitor etc in many games you will have to lower the settings, primarily the textures quality. What happens when VRAM becomes insufficiently clear on the example of Sons of the Forest and Wo Long. Thanks for the video, great work!

@@smokegames1179 8gb is sufficient for most games. Some games will exceed it, but you'd still have plenty of playable framrstes in re4 anyway

Vas bien,da igual el cuello de botella cómprate lo más caro que te alcance y en cuanto tengas el dinero mejora lo que vaya mal. Dentro de todo tienes una build equilibrada

Si tienes una buena fuente de poder y una buena placa base podras ir mejorando con el tiempo tu equipo asi que no te preocupes porque en cuanto veas que tu cpu o gpu no rinde como esperas, puedes cambiar los componentes, incluso agregar mas RAM. No hay un cuello de botella muy importante, pero te recomiendo mejorar un poco mas el CPU si vas a jugar a 1080p.
