I built my last Gamer PC in 2011 - SLI GTX 580 + i7 2600k + MB ASUS Extreme (at the time it was the best CPU possible). Currently I only have a Gamer Notebook - Alienware R15 + RTX 3070ti, but I'm currently building a Gamer PC and I'm just waiting for the 4090 to drop a little more in value to buy it. The processor will wait for Intel's 14th generation, which should be announced soon, to decide. I'm currently set on the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, but I'll wait for Intel to decide definitively.

I know my comment will be out of context for this specific video, but I need help deciding which processor to buy to play in 4k and also have good performance to work with. I've watched all the videos on the channel - very good by the way - about the AMD Ryzen 7 and 9 (7800X3D and 7950X3D) and the comparison of both with the Intel i9 13900k. I'm also afraid of building an i9 with z790 and having to change the motherboard to the 14th generation... anyway, I have a lot of debts about which processor to choose...

I may be talking a lot of rubbish here...but looking at the entire Series 40 so far, in my opinion, the only GPU really worth buying (without taking into account the monetary value and taking into account only the performance analysis ) is the 4090, for the 384 Bits + 24 GB and the high performance for current standards in 4k resolution, because it will probably be the only one of the Series 40 that will still be "playable" and competitive with the Series 50, in 4k resolution, from now on about 1 year and a half, when the Series 50 will probably be officially presented.

Hi Nada, I'm looking to build a new pc capable of high fps 4K gaming, most of the main components im sure of, 7800x3d, 7900xtx, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ram.. but I cannot decide on a motherboard or case! Do you have any recommendations? I was debating an asus rog strix b650E-E for the board as it isnt crazy expensive but seems to have good features, but I honestly have no clue. And every pc case seems to either have flaws or be suuuper expensive

Hey :) - 7800X3D uses so little power most motherboards will suffice. Pick one that has the features you need / looks you like / price you find acceptable. The B650E-E seems well rounded imho. - Case: it's also pretty subjective. What design do you like? Anything with a mesh front and specs to fit the 7900XTX should do completely fine tbh. Something like a Corsair 4000D Airflow or Fractal Meshify is a good place to start.

So heres a thing about these cards. There 8Gm Vram and last time I looked many of the new games I play need more than 8Gb or at least ask for more. This is 100% true of consul ported games which are highly popular. So we have a 1080p entry level card that cant realy keep up with consuls which cost very close and there are litterally cards available for simlar cost that are better. This needs to be £$50 cheaper to even make sense at least. The few tech reviewers I watch, none have a price per FPS chart which is probably more important that power draw which should not be an issue at the entry level.

The 4060 Ti 16GB makes sense if you’re using it for AI/Machine Learning. Talking about these cards in 8GB context makes no sense at all in 2024. These cards are currently on sale here in the US because of 5080/5090 spec leaks. The new 50 series cards are rumored to not be very expensive or at least as expensive as was thought. So 4070s and 4060s are pretty “cheap” right now. The 4060 Ti 16GB OC or the 4070 Super OC are the lowest spec cards I’d recommend for gaming or AI. Anything else is a waste of money especially anything made by AMD B/C they’re not AI ready & not future proof.
