I got this GPU for 450 euro with the 3 cooler version (Gigabyte Eagle) with a i7-12700F, 32 GB RAM DDR5. I only think to play in 1080p, do you think is a good upgrade when i had a 1660 super

My brother went RTX 4060ti from GTX 1650 Super for 1080p because it would still work with his 500W PSU. The AMD offerings provided below would mean a new PSU - a small benefit with Ada Lovelace efficiency. Of course, DLSS is just objectively visually superior to FSR also. RT performs better.

Even if the 4060ti has a bad price/performance ratio like some people say, it will be a awesome upgrade. I got from a 1660 super to a 3060ti and it made a real difference

You can run 4060 ti in 550w PSU but the PSU should be good quality, I don't know what kind of PSU you have but you could search in linus PSU tier list and see the good ones there. While your i5 10400f is still good but it might bottleneck some time in the future games.

I have this configuration for my 1440p, and i have double screen 1440p 1080p for FPS or other games need performance 1 year with that, i can do a conclusion and for me this configuration its an absolute config for 1080p, like for the price is the top of the top. 1440p with this config is nice, but in a lot of game, i was frustrated sometime by the optimisation of the game for 1440p, for 1080p never and i play i think 100 games differents in 1 year so, i hope this post can help some guys 1080p clearly win for me with ryzen 7 5700x 4060ti for the best stability and comfort

With the DLSS and FG technology moving forward, I hardly doubt your statement will come into fruition. Another thing is that 2 years is a good amount of time to be due another upgrade, as new generations of GPU's come out quite frequently nowadays; There is still people out there that are rocking with rtx 20 series graphics cards in their system.

The 16 gigs of ram are just marketing. Useless in a 1080 p card and some 1440p games like the 4060ti. If you want 1440p gaming go for the 4070 super or de 7800xt
