I have 3070 and Ryzen 5800X and I run Wukong 1440p 70-90 FPS without RayTracing, but all settings are between High and Cinematic... Also in CP2077 I have better performance at 1440p with full RT, then this video says.. 3070 is still great for its age

@Виктор_Горош wrong Please don't talk without knowledge and without testing it yourself, I owned rtx 3070 for 2 years I played games at 4k and 1440p The vram intensive games like hogwarts legacy, the last of us part 1 , resident evil 4 remake I played them on 1440p with high texture and ultra graphics settings The fps was stable and no stuttering and 1% was good The games like rdr2 , witcher 3 , assassin creed Valhalla, forza horizon 5 , horizon zero dawn I played them at 4k with maximum settings and 8gb vram was enough and fps was very good Only rdr2 fos was 38 fps because I unlocked all settings at max with taa not dlss cuz dlss is bad in this game، 8gb vram not a problem Bad optimization is the problem

yes so true. I was always super cheap on pc hardware, was using 1€ ati gpu and someday i thought i could spend 20€ to get myself a gt730 DDR5 Model. It was passive cooled and could play Heavy rain. Then I got myself a rtx 2060, since then i always couldnt get satisfied anymore, went 2080ti, 3080, 3090, 4090. In the end I felt disguisted by all this gpu power, I settled for a small notebook with 4060 which is more than enough for all i do, including vr. GPUs should not cost more than 300€, i woke up to this.

4060 110w vs 3070 220w, that energy efficiency is really impressive and is only like 10-15% slower compared to 3070, my house runs on solar so was perfect for me the 4060, also av1 is nice to have for record gameplays or streaming VR to my quest 3. If you don’t care about using more electricity or modern features 3070 is nice choice for a lot of people.

maths is off, 3070 is 25-30 % faster in most games here compared to the 4060.

3070 works with high voltages. If you undervolt it just a little, you can reach the same performance per watt as the 4060...but keeping 20~30% faster than the 4060. It not difficult to keep the 3070 at 150Watts (equivalent to 110Watts in the 4060). Both cards are very good. The question here is traditionally the xx60 of the new gen is equivalent to xx70 of the old gen. Not this time....and the difference is big.

Because DLSS is like cheating. Under the hood the game is being processed at lower resolution...and at the final stage, the frame buffer gets upscaled. OK...it's not an ordinary "dumb" upscaler...it's clever enough to know when and where it gets less or more upscaling. It's dynamic and smart. But I think any comparative benchmark should turn OFF any kind of upscaling. So we can see the raw power of the cards.

I have 3070 and I play Wukong at 1440p without RT, all setting are between High and Cinematic (almost everything is Very High) and it runs like 75-90 FPS all the time.. I have Ryzen 5800X.. hope it helps

My 3070 TI has a drawback that it cannot run in stock settings properly and goes black screen while playing games or on high load, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. Thanks to MSI afterburner, so I can undervolt it to make it run well. Now I switch to RX6800XT. I don't know if the 4060 already resolves that issue?

yep.., bought the Silent Hill 2 remake, and was very disappointed to see my 3070 was only able to run it at 1080p 60fps, it made me feel like I was playing on a PS4 again, and it made me realize is time to upgrade, but at least my 3070 is 4 years old, while 4060 is from the newest series. The 4060 is an absolute joke 😂
