Went from Radeon HD7950 to RX 580 to RX 6600 to RX 7900 GRE. I always buy new. I'm not chancing on a tortured card. I get my money worth by getting AMD. Why? Because i get play my games at 1440p. I don't give a flying shit about DLSS or RT. I got my money worth and thats important.

don't forget that the 7900gre is an oc king.. it can achieve about 10% higher perforamnce with the right tweaking and with about the same if not less power draw. Meaning it could just about compete with the 4070ti even better.

AMD cards are not bad value. Unfortunately they're not NVIDIA cards so you lose out on the few things. DLSS (better quality), DLSS FG better supported vs FSR FG), Much better RT performance under medium or heavy loads, and power efficiency.

NVidia is Scamming all of you with their Abysmal VRam size since RTX 20 series. The only worthy Nvidia upgrade was from GTX 9 series to GTX 10 series. Notably because of large increase in VRam. You can see that nvidia has better vram compression, meaning usually with the same settings and resolution uses 15% to 20% less vram, so when people compare it, they should take that into consideration.
