I had 3070 ti 8gb vram. Now I bought 7900xt 20gb vram. My cpu ryzen 5600x. My ram 16gb(2x8) ddr4 3600mhz. I have 4K monitor. Can I play the latest games in 4K without any difficulties? edit 1 year later: I updated the RAM to 32 GB. I'm glad I bought the 7900xt card. I'm very pleased.

you might run into a bottleneck issue for having a very powerful gpu paired with a mid tier cpu, but because you are playing at 4K the bottleneck might be reduced actually, since most of the work will be done by the gpu

@@dayanvaldes1349 yes. I can play all AAA games at 4K very high settings with high fps. I play Black Ops 6 at 4K very high settings. If you don't care about DLSS and ray tracing like me, I recommend this card. (I only changed the ram to 32gb.)

Another watched test and I'm more and more convinced that these two graphics cards are identical in results. At the moment this AMD model is slightly more expensive than Nvidia. Also 4700 Ti heats slightly less and draws less power but the 7900 XT has better display ports and average sometimes in 4K games has more FPS because of larger VRAM (like in COD MW2). But it depends on game optimization and other PC components so... In this case, I think that there is no point in arguing because both cards are very similar and you should buy the one that is cheaper. In my case in my country this RTX 4070 Ti was 5-10% cheaper than AMD so I bought it and I hope I will be happy with it.

3080 without Ti was on sale for 750€ (~800$) on black friday in Germany. Now it costs 800-900€. The recommended retail price for 4070 ti is 900€ in Germany. Decision here is pretty easy if you are not dumb. 4070 Ti is the clear winner among all nvidia cards below 1000€. Most Benchmarks don't even compare DLSS (2 and 3) performance which would be in favor for the 4070 ti. 4080 costs 50% more for ~20-25% more performance. 4090 costs at least 100% more. Market is fucked up, in conclusion the price is acceptable.

Probably they will keep same marketing as Nvidia to force buying up sale GPU... If AMD release FSR3 for other than RDNA3, they will suicide since people will not buy their overpriced GPU later... Actually Nvidia can just enable the frame gen for any RTX gpu since all of them have tensor cores, but marketing is marketing...

I don't know if you've noticed but Nvidia's sponsored RT games only work on high end models. After the release of the 4090 they added the RT psycho mode to make the 3090 look like shit. Thanks to ue5, this will change a lot.

While the 4070 ti isn't a great deal, it's a much better deal than the 7900 xt due to only being 100 dollars below and having fewer crashes while also sporting better power efficiency and probably just better support in general. Not to mention it will have better resale value being better for streamers or content creators. I believe AMD's FSR 3.0 (same as DLSS 3.0) will be more or less the same although without as many games supporting it. The only reason I'd go AMD is for having a lot more VRAM which isn't an issue at 1440p at the moment and maybe not even 4k, but it definitely will be a bigger deal in the future.

But 7900xt has better image quality Vs 4070ti, don't take my word for it, compare on userbenchmark. Even userbenchmark says amd 7900xt have better textures compared to 4070ti. So it's ray tracing barely playable at 4k for a handful of games that matter (4070 to) or better image quality across all games (amd 7900xt) I don't regret my 7900xt gigabtye gaming oc at all. No way I will trade it for 4070 ti even if someone offered. Even on a fhd 1080p monitor the difference in image sharpness on my 7900xt gigabtye gaming oc is evident. Just by looking I know it is a dope card. Waiting to upgrade to 4k monitor

Keep in mind the amd 7900xt here is just the exact reference copy by board partner while the 4070ti here is the board partner galax card (meaning it has added bells and whistles for better cooling and overclock). I own the gigabyte 7900xt gaming oc model which can overclock, better cooling and RGB, and it scored 100 percentile of all 7900xt cards, without even touching overclock. So a true board partner 7900xt should at least beat out 4070ti additional + 4-5 fps to the reference amd copy you see here. The gap will be wider

you are comparing OC card with non OC variant? also turn on RT and see who wins, anyone spending such amount of money should experience complete experience the game is providing. otherwise it's just plain waste of money.
