Testing the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GPU in GENSHIN IMPACT at 4K Resolution, using the high, no motion blur settings.

What's your FPS like in the open world? I have a 3080 + 5900x and notice that I get dips into the 80s - 90s in areas with high NPC density like Sumeru City, or large open areas with high draw distances such as when using the four-leaf sigils to fly to Gandharva Ville. My GPU utilization is only at 80% in these scenarios. Seems like this game is CPU bound even on high end hardware so I'm wondering whether the 4090 gets bottlenecked as well.

@@mredizon00 true and the the res you play on also effects it, i can play fine on 1440p and my friend on a rtx2060super can play fine on 1440p too, but my desktop with a 1650 can only do 1080p

@@codeeey my i5 11300H integerated gpu processor runs it on 1440p too(low set) at around 60 and sometimes drops when too many enemies come at ones but i just started playing so haven't had a fight as shown in the video(my poor laptop will crash😭)

@@nicehaircutmrsvarog a 3050 laptop may not be able to get 120fps stable in genshin 1080p max graphics, i would say around 90-100fps avg which is still way better than 60fps but yeah it is what it is i have a 3050 laptop myself and just waiting for 90/120fps so that i can test my gpu fully but i guess i might just try genshin on external 4k TV when i get it in a few months to test 3050 that way, i sure hope to get 50+ fps at least but cant say

Vsync off- I have G-Sync on in my NVIDIA settings. It’s better than v-sync with low latency. Env detail, anis filter, render 1.0 - those are the preset for high quality. Motion blur off - I don’t like blur. It can make me have motion sickness

If you scale it up to 1.5 on a 4K monitor, then its gonna render the game at 5k or 6k resolution, which will take away more fps. And you will also not see the extra pixels because a monitor doesn’t go further than its own resolution.

You need to download other software to do it as Genshin only goes up to 60FPS. Beware though as you may get banned for altering your game with other software or programs(Although I’ve had shaders and FPS unlock for a while with no issue yet)
