I appreciate what you're doing, specially when i planning to replace my 7 7800x3d because of high temperature compared to 7 9800x3d paired with RTX 4070 TI Super but since you uploaded that video with a little performance gains and little bit decrease of temperature. I change my mind just to tweak and tune bios to lower my 7 7800x3d temperature and I'm satisfied with the result.😊

It's worth noting that the 5080 was nearly always 8-10 degrees colder and using 10 - 25% less power. Look at the Last of Us, a 12% gain in frames while running 5 degrees hotter but using a HUGE 80 watts more. In per watt performance the 5080 is smashing the 4090, there's going to be amazing overclocking potential in the 5080 with temps that low too.

Its scummy for developers being lazy with optimizing their games, but in my own personal experience, those new features like framegen are very good when you have high base fps, i only use x2 to match my monitor refresh rate

Exactly the VRAM caps at 16gb in the test and the 4090 said 18gb. I want a 5080 but this scares me long term cooking from 3080. Only one game though.

if you actually look at the numbers reported in the overlay in video you can see it is not user overclocked. i easily overclocked mine to about 3.2gzh core and in video its reaching about 2.8gzh max.

No way you come to the conclusion that the 4090 is a better deal. The 5080 is definitely the better buy. It is good that the 40series received the DLSS4 update or else it would be an even worse comparison. 5080 is not only cheaper, but performs better even with less hardware. When the 40series receives MFG then we can talk. Literally ridiculous to say the 4090 performs better than the 5080. Even more ridiculous if you also bring up the price difference
