The Aarushi case is misdirected. We must remember that along with Aarushi, a servant was also killed. As Aarushi belonged to a high end family and the servant to a lower class, the police started Aarushi murder case and treated servant's murder as a secondary murder to hide evidence. But why should one kill a school girl ? I think here the primary murder was that of the servant and Aarushi's murder was secondary to hide evidence.

My theory is that, i think Aarushi saw his father killing the servant and i also think aarushi was quiet about it but the parents were not sure if she would keep quiet and the parents felt it would be better to kill aarushi too,as they were skeptical that aarushi might reveal the truth to the police because the servant was very close to aarushi he was like a father figure to aarushi i think.
