Curator is such an interesting character, i'm glad to see him in every games of the serie. This one have a phenomenal entrance with the best version of the song O Death. Also, the storyline is so fascinating with Pazuzu and the Mesopotamia culture.

This is my favorite of the Dark Pictures Anthology series! I love the historical fiction setting blended with the almost Lovecraftian "lost world", At the Mountains of Madness aspect. The lore surrounding the vampire creatures kind of reminds me of the Winged Apes from "The Queen of the Black Coast", one of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian stories. They were similarly an enlightened and peaceful civilization, but over the course of centuries degenerated into a purely bestial and predatory condition.

swavezmartin it has its moments. It is more action packed compared to the other entries and can be very tense and thrilling. Most of the scary aspect derives from the claustrophobic environments and mystery of the creatures. It's not as creepy as little hope or man of medan. There are two characters I became quite attached too and the military theme and setting is unique. Pick it up whenever convenient for you, Your more likely to like than dislike, it's cheap compared to other games as well 👍
