The moment the soul is liberated from the confinement of its body, it experiences the closeness of its creator. Beyond the boundaries of our egos; beyond the rights and wrongs of worldly affairs, beyond you and I is an ocean of love where the creator yearns to meet his creation. Through the experience of Murshid Waqar Faiz, and how he found the Divine - we get to taste a drop of water in the vast ocean of love, drowning the seeker in the depths of the Creator's nearness as if He is right in front of the seeker - Rubaru

After Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sb, the qawali's power and attraction never remained the same... This reminds me of Ustaad Nusrat Khan sb's era, when poets were outstanding and qwaal did not have had any match... This one is a Masterpiece in poetry, presentation, involvement of singer, composition and beautiful use of orchestra 10 out of 10 ... This is not Indian music the poet is from Pakistan. This is Sufi poetry which has its origin from the Muslim mystics. In fact, all her qawali renditions recited so far is from Pakistan, from Lal Shahbaz Qalander to Man Kunto Maula, poetry was written by Sufi poets from Pakistan and Iran

It's about the love of God and hard to translate. You could a better translation if you turn on the captions. I think the translation is something like this: "Face to face I searched for you everywhere, from door to door. I could not find you, until I found you in my heart. Come to my home (heart) Say the intoxicated one in love (with God) After meeting me don't go far You are like a heart beat in my heart And the all hearing Come you my home (heart) Says the one intoxicated with love Face to face The heart said Come to my home Said the one intoxicated in love You can not be seen in the sky but in front of me Set the wilderness on fire Lift your veil Come and light a fire (in the wilderness of my heart) Lift your veil. This is a very rough translation and you will be able to find a better translation if you turn on the captions

12+ minutes may seem like a long time for a 'song'. In this case 12 minutes isn't long enough. I have kept replaying and replaying... Cried several times too. I am not a follower of Allah, but this is just pure genius for the music, not even necessarily the words..Orchestral Qawwali are just a class act
