I feel as if IVE's choreography is actually good but the problem is the girls themselves have very low energy because if you go watch LA Chica's video on the choreography it looks way better ,but even still IVE needs to get better choreographies
@vixxexo68553 ай бұрын
Well Wonyoung is known for being lazy, you can see from Liz’s body that she is lazy and don’t practise much and Rei and Leeseo are useless dozens. Yujin and Gaeul are only ones who know how to dance in IVE. Even then Gaeul is weak for a main dancer.

I don't think they are necessarily lazy but I guess they are examples of idols trying to dancer rather than being actual dancers . Less majority of k-pop isn't actual dancer but 95 percent adapt and learn how to and actually put forth good performances . I really liked accendio and the choreo was simple but fun so I was looking forward towards their live performances and was disappointed.

groups where the majority of members are under the age of 16 will NOT get my time and i'm standing on that. idc, if i'm "only one person", that's my business and i'm standing on it. especially male groups. at least female groups are still treated like they're young at that age, male idols are treated as sex symbols regardless of if they're 14 or 24 and i, even at the young age of 19, can NOT get behind that

I have to disagree with that one comment saying IVE is low energy, its just that clearly none of them are really specialized in dancing and thats fine. I still think its something to do with choreo. Look at second gen girl group idols. Most of them werent dancers but many had catchy choreos that were fun to see

I've never understood the whole bashing BabyMonster for overperfoming thing. I feel like kpop stans are so used to complaining about performances being mediocre or lacking in some aspect that when they see a group (and a rookie at that) finally do their job well, they're annoyed about not having anything to complain about. This might be a stretch but stans could also be mad at the fact that Babymonster don't fit the whole talented, underdog narrative that some fans have been projecting towards other recently debuted groups (a few names pop into my head but I won't mention them). Keep in mind that I'm commenting this as someone who isn't a Babymonster fan but has seen some clips of their recent performances circulate online.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who believe heya choreo isn’t it. Like y’all did my girls DIRTYYYY.
@vixxexo68553 ай бұрын
It is not just the choreo, but the group itself that is the problem. Wonyoung should spend more time in the practise room then the surgery clinic to get a new face for next comeback.

Yep.. It is very underwhelming. The girls are good dancer. But it is only shown if they got good choreography

Bts is one of the most versatile kpop group and artists. I love that all the members try different type of music together and as soloists

the thing, it always seems to be chaeyoung wearing or posing next to controversial things. she also caught controversy for wearing a shirt with a swastika on it. the whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth

i really did like maestro and i thought the use of musical terms was really interesting at first before realizing that some of them were kinda inaccurate. call me bad at music theory but calling a 'song' a 'sonata'?? Using the term 'crescendo' when theres not really a gradual increase in volume?? (unless you count the high note ig?) I feel like that kinda pushes your opinion that they were trying to do too much too fast even more. its not like i find the song horrible, i still listen to it and vibe with it but idk man. I agree with the choreography point 100%, its so messy 😭 The dance break and certain parts were cool but the rest felt like a dance festival gone wrong. Its just how i feel tho, people are free to feel whatever they wanna feel obviously so pls dont come for me

Respect your opinions, but I don't think the same way as you in Opinion #2 (TWICE). I think they are doing great. Also, I feel that they will climb higher in the near future. Also, even I didn't know what the shirt meant other than it had the American colors. I found what it meant when people started to complain. It kinda looks like some old style shirt (vintage). And as for the Nazi Shirt, the girl apoplogized, I felt she got the shirt because it was a Sex Pistols shirt. As far as doing research...who the crap does that? What you learned in school, doesn't mean they learned the same thing. Maybe they touched on World Wars, but Korea also suffered during this time, so maybe the discussion was more on what their country went through when they were occupied. Lastly, we all make mistakes. The world would be more of a crappy place if we didn't forgive simple mistakes.

the 9 opinion (seventeen) is sooo true!!!! their songs are gettin too damn different from what they always sounded like. i always saw them as a slightly more vocal based group because their rap line usually tones down their rap parts in their more famous title tracks (pretty u / i don't wanna cry / very nice) and even when their title tracks are more rap/hiphop sounding( like mansae), the rap line never takes over too much because there are only 4 rappers compared to the overall 13 members so their songs end up sounding quite melodic. this, to me, is what set them apart from ,for example, bts where the main focus in their songs is usually on the rap line while the vocal line handles the chorus and the bridge. but in the past few years, svt's songs started feeling more rap based. i remember being a bit put off by "hot" because it didn't really feel like seventeen. the same happened with super and maestro too. thankfully, they still released songs once in a while that in my opinion captures their sound like "world" and "rock with you" i understand they want to explore and be as versatile as possible but the kpop market is already oversaturated with the "i'm a cool boy wearing dark clothes concept" so it's better if seventeen remains a breath of fresh air by focusing on the unique artistic identity they managed to create for themselves instead of trying to sound like something that isn't svt.

I'm sorry but you're talking like they didn't release God of music and Ima after super. It's just them experimenting with their sound. They always did that. With getting closer or hit or even fearless for example. Plus you should try listening to the b-sides too not just the title tracks.
