Mate I love Amorim and what I've seen so far but he clearly knew what he was getting into. I am 100% sure he doesn't actually really care and his commenta about wanting to do less interviews and media stuff was a flippant comment. He's not a poor guy he's a coach of arguably the biggest club in the world.

Yes, Ruben is on another level! Obviously all players, managers and coaches know something about the human bio motor concept. The next level is of course the human psycho bio motor level. Ruben has this in spades with a university degree and post university degree in the said subject. Agains Bodo Glimt. In the first half it was long searching wide balls. Enter Dalot..........second half. Dalot made a number of searching wide runs to the opposite side of the pitch whilst these runs did not amount to much most of the time it did happen once or twice where a pass to Adama did make it and an assist was nearly the outcome. If you watch even further Dalot made the the back 3 into a back 4 when Bodo Glimt were in attack. When I say best on ground, not withstanding Hoijland for scoring his goals it was of course Dalot for his absolute commitment with those long searching carries across the ground, and returning back to wing back and and full back. The tactic didn't quite come off but will soon. All very interesting how Amorim is breaking down different plays for different players I just love it. Ruben is giving his players the chance to succeed or fail and will have no regrets on his part as failures leave regardless of money or who they think they are! He might even be sorry to see them leave at the time and he knows this!

There is data (or profile) for every player. The coach can get most of the information he needs from the data. Clubs also use the same process when purchasing a player from another club.
