While ultimately carried by the cast with a story suffering from "god directing" and absurdism used to the point that nothing makes much sense, I thought the movie was decent enough. The politics feels even more empty after hearing this interview and the unhinged levels of critical acclaim it has received tells us everything we need to know about some modern movie critics. Meanwhile, Triangle of Sadness' portrayal of human nature and the falseness of modern society was intriguing. 6/10, undeserving of a second watch
