Yeah I kinda agree hey every now and then we swing a miss I like his channel but this fly to me and my untrained eyes looks like a hot mess in layers. Not sure what was supposed to be accomplished but I’m learning I still appreciate the vid

I have used these flies and they don't work!! See beechy 99 pike trek videos for some fresh ideas plus flies you can cast on light lines by scaling down the size and hook hope this helps kind regards Steve

Hi Buddy, we use this kind of patterns for golden dorado fishing, they strike by the head and when they strike they swallow all the fly most of the time, they use to strike 4/5/6kg Sabalo fish and they often cut them on half, so strike lost is not a big problem when it comes to golden dorado fishing. just another carpet fly Just a personal opinion !! no offence intended but every body has their own way of tying and what work's for you doesn't work for me I don't follow the heard I think out of the box that is the only way you give your self a head start to be in front by showing predators a more animated fly this can be on the drop or slow retrieve or vary the depth different movement pause lift off the bottom etc
