I really enjoy watching these videos, the process is really enjoyable. However, as a fan of Rubens, I'm not happy that you didn't paint over a streaked ground and on wood, as that was Rubens' preferred surface for painting. Nonetheless, an enjoyable video as usual.

You are a great reproducer of great work of classic artists, but sorry to say Rubins painted in many layers of thin glazes light to dark.

the background must be acrylic because you are resting your hand on it? oils take several days to dry. anyways, nice painting.

The painting is created entirely with oil on canvas. We do not use acrylic. We wait a few days between the layers of paint until it dries completely.
