Nice build, one of my favorites of the period as well, always felt to me like the T-34 under carriage was build for that turret, it has a nice profile imo.

The "bonus" t-34/76 turret can be fitted; the two turrets vary in ring size my 2mm - 27mm for the t34/85 and 25 mm for the smaller 34/76 turret. I cut off the small nubs from the smaller turret, added a thin rope of Green Stuff and use a flat edge to shape it onto the 76's ring. Once dry and cleaned up, and test fit in the turret ring, I cut an old spare sprue to size as thus is for the turret's mounting nibs; and glued it straight across the turret bottom, using the same location from the two nubs I had earlier cut off. Once dry, the turret mounts and rotates just like its larger 85mm turret. Works great for double duty depending in the time frame of gaming scenarios. Great work BTW although I can not help but wonder where you store all your stuff?!

This seems pretty easy to do. I got the T-34/76 kit too, so I can use the bonus turret on that and I couldn't do that if it were modified. Still, it's good for those with only the one kit. I keep my 28mm stuff either in a transport bag I got from Laser Touch, or a few plastic storage boxes that are just tall enough and can stack. For 15mm stuff I have another bag from battlefoam and some plastic document drawers.

Well Mr. Earpadert because of this video I have before me sitting on my TV tray is a Rubicon Models T-34/85 tank. I’m excited to build it and compare it to my Bolt Action T-34/85. I ordered it from Rubicon US and had it in less then a week. So you ask if your videos are helpful well I say yes! Thank you Herbert.

Excellent! I hope you enjoyed the build! Assuming you've finished by now. I've quite pleased that my videos are helpful!

Herb your videos are awesome. I have used some of your techniques on my models. I will get to building my team 34 soon as I get back from Gettysburg Pennsylvania battlefield anyways keep it up ,will catch up to you later.

Cheers, Will. My favourite company is a tricky question. I'm not good at choosing. Rubicon's stuff is great. Flames of War's newer plastics are fantastic. Plastic soldier company is always good.

Looks good! I recently finished my T34/76 from Warlord/Italeri and was just a little bit let down by the lack of depth on some of the parts. It's a minor issue, but now I'll certainly try out the T34/85 from Rubicon!

+Neves1789 I have been considering trying out some of those plastic kits, so the lack of depth sounds a little disappointing. They look okay in pictures.

+Herbert Erpaderp That issue was mainly around the driver's hatch and the tow cables. Due to the way they're cast, you can't get a lot of wash to pool in and around them. The rest is fine though, turret and engine hatches have good depth and paint up perfectly, as I said it's only a minor issue and would still recommend them.

+Neves1789 Ahh, I see. I guess that isn't too bad. I was still going to pick some up eventually anyway.

nice model,I'm tempted to start bolt action but not sure what scale to do it in 20mm or 28mm,20mm is cheapest though and well 28mm just paints up better.

Why dont you paint your models?? But great video anyway. You inspired me very

I do. I don't have an extra 30-40 hours every week to add painting to the video.
