How to Solve a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube: Easiest Tutorial (Last Layer)

My grandson got one for Christmas and was unable to solve it, he had to keep taking it to school for one of the older boys to solve it for him. He ask me a couple of times to see if I could solve it but I had never had one, so I decided to buy one. Bearing in mind I'm 70yrs I took to KZbin for information and after watching many solutions I found yours is the best and I've finally managed to solve it. You explained everything, thank you so much.

4:05 to save a move whenever you get that "L" shape grab both F AND middle layer denoted small "f" when you grab 2 layers at once and do same algo, clockwise front 2 layers - then do sexy move and undo "f" front 2 layers counterclockwise - BAM cross. Big deal - saves doing F(RUR'U')F twice by turning the 2 Front layers instead of 1 and doing the algo once.

Using this method i have finally solved the cube ! It was relatively easy up until the part where you turn the cube on its side. However I noticed you have other methods for the final steps on your channel. I'll combine 2 of your videos for the next time. Thanks a million ! 🙂🙂

Now, Thanks to you I have solved my Rubik Cube twice. My question, do you have any tricks to remember the algorithms from this video? I can salve the up to the first two layers without remembering any, but this layer it seems necessary. I thus far just cannot seem to memorize it yet. 🙂

Awesome intuitive LL! Now I can solve the cube with 4 algos, which I can memorize... W Cross, Intuitive F2L, Yellow Cross (F U R U' R' F'), OLL Edges (R U R' U R 2U R') , OLL Corners (U R U' L' U R' U' L), y' (U' R' U R) until corners are done... Prior, I had to use the 21 OLL algos on a cheat sheet... 🙂

Every time I do that last algorithm I get all Corners facing the correct way but it still leaves my Cube messed up I make sure that it's yellow facing left white facing right I'm doing the algorithm correctly and I'm not moving the cube making sure the same color is facing me the whole time why is it not working correctly I've gone over it probably about 20 times

for the yellow cross i wouldn't do it like that my technique is to hold it where you have headlights and do (R U2 R' U' R. U. R'. U'. R U'. R') Of course this is my way of solving cause its much simpler and faster but i like his method too.

For the last step turn upside down the cube (last layer at the bottom) and apply the sexy moves :)
