Thank you Sven, you made me discover rubis on your first video about it. Did a bit of a trade with it, entering low and selling high right after the dividend and using the profit to buy an increased position at around 20 Euro. It went out perfectly and now I reduced again my position at 33 it seems a bit overstretched , and I look forward,if it retrace a bit lower, to use again the profits to increase again the position. If it does not I will enter back at my sell price with my preceding position. I intend to hold the company long time if nothing changes, i like the company, I like the energy sector in this moment in time, I enjoy the dividend( when it doesn’t crash couse of it being payed )

Hey Sven, I’m following your videos regarding Rubis and still looking for the right entry point to buy the stock. The unfavorable tax situation in Germany for French stocks doesn’t make the decision easier. But let me come to my point: Rubis pays a good dividend of ~7%, however around/after the ex-dividend day the stock drops by 15% - 25% (at least checking last 4 years). So, after getting 7% dividend, stock price drops 15% and I can buy Rubis cheaper. Next year I get 7%, stock price drops…. However, at some point I want to sell the stock and to make 15% CAGR, the price of the stock needs to recover significantly. I have seen this happening with many other stocks but not all show this behavior. Can you share some insights on this point? An update on Rubis and the current price level would be also great. Thx!

I love your content. Flow traders seems to be developing as you thought. I built a small position and it is doing well. Thank you. My wife is from HK, did you know that Nine Dragons Paper would more properly be called Kowloon Paper ? It is named after the place....... so while it does literally mean 'nine dragons' it probably shouldn't be translated. Silly point, but I like the meaning of words etc. Kowloon is called that because 9 dragons are supposed to sweep down to HK at that point..... bringing all the good luck that has made HK wealthy. I am told HSBC when they built their building made sure that it would never have the 'flow' from these dragons blocked by other buildings.

🗽 French withholding tax on dividends is 30% ... too high for me, because in Austria I can only deduct 15% of this french tax from the Austrian tax. That is the EC... a mess! 🥴 .

Your bank needs to contact the French authorities. In Germany we have the same issue but my bank which is my broker as well took care of it.

Well as of today Rubis is 26% cheaper than in the video, so if you buy now and it will just go back to the price when this video was made, you already have 35% plus on this position.

Wanted to buy more, but a juicy opportunity came with DOCS (Dr Martens) dropping over 30% on new CEO announcement and negative outlook ...so my monthly purchase went to London Stock Exchange this time instead of Paris 👍

If I give money to a monkey, he will likely invest it in the typical US large caps and do better over time than by doing all this research. All these risks of valuation collapse that he keeps pointing out materialize on a weekly basis for the cheap stuff in his covered list. Rubis simply reached north of 10x earnings... collapsed. Chinese stuff, collapsed.
