This is a great image that really captures the first boss battle truthfully, Sonic, tails and Knuckles are all taken aback by eggman's sudden brutality. He usually goes much easier on them, no longer as the Ruby's evil has invaded his mind. Tbh this is kinda scary in Sonic's pov
