Visiting my grandmother in Minden & visiting my father in Dubois were the best memories I have growing up. Watching the video has made me even more home sick. It was awesome seeing such beauty again as you've shared. Thank you!

I grew up on ranch in Ruby Valley. My dad took me up to Overland Lake on horseback when I was 10 years old. Overland Lake is high up in the Ruby Mountains, around 9,000 + feet.

Ahh, dusty Nevada deserts- so endless, nothing to see or do. So many people don’t know that Nevada is the most mountainous state in the lower 48. Few places allow you to feel truly on your own and self reliant. You did a fantastic job at revealing what Nevada truly has to offer, for those who want to step back in time and become an explorer.

No, they are all hiking trails.

There is one lake in the Rubies that you can drive to, Angel Lake. It is not a Jeep trail, it’s paved.
