make sure that you have allow less secure apps is on and you wrote your email and password right... and try to turn 2-step verification off If that doesn't work try to ask a question on Stack Overflow. Something might have changes since I made this video.

@@theyoussefnassar I solved it adding config.action_mailer.perform_deliveries = true in the config/environments/development.rb file

I followed exact steps using rails 6.0. Everything look exactly same on the log file as well using gmail account. Tried mutiple times but not receiving any email.....any other possibility??

It is most likely to be a problem with you google account. Make sure you have the right settings

You are correct, it is not possible since May 30, 2022. I am not sure if there is a solutions, I would have to check.
