Great video, going on same cruise in about a month and booked the over the water bungalow like you did. There is some more info. just on Turquoise Bay Beach hotel site plus other info. on trip advisor from other's in the past that have been there as well, looks great, hopefully our weather will be better.

I just found your channel a couple days ago and am having fun watching. I presume you are from Texas by your RV videos, we live just north of Dallas and planning on doing lots of cruising now the pandemic is over. We were full time RVers and loved that lifestyle too, but stopped during the pandemic it was just too much. Would love to meet you sometime wondering about your next cruises? We are leaving on a 10 day RC out of Galveston in March. I did KZbin videos for about 3 years when we were rving, so I know how hard it is, you do a great classy job. Hello! Welcome to our channel! We are from Texas, Katy. We have Carnival Panorama in a few weeks and Carnival Horizon the end of April. That is it as of now for 2023! We have Europe in our sights. KZbin is a labor of love for sure. I really enjoy it and it has now become my full time job. Will you be sailing Allure? She is a great ship! The others here in Galveston are great as well. The new terminal is very nice, I suggest you get your parking booked sooner rather than later if you need it. We love Rving and have dreams of full time but just not sure we could do it. Hi Favor, looks like you had a great day at Mahogony bay I at least got to see what I have missed this week luckily I only had one excursion booked at Costa Maya to visit ruins there and I got a full refund on that but have to wait on insurance for the cruise cost. My husbands surgery went well and he is home so thank you for your kind thoughts.

Have a trip on sky princess in 38 days…same run..been to Roatan before but never heard of Turquoise Bay..just booked it on your review! (Thanks!) we did the beach chairs though instead of the over-water bungalow (as well be in the water 99% of the time)

Excellent choice!! There was a marriage proposal on the beach, so sweet. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the beach and the service. We spoke with others because of the bungalows are sold out I would go to the beach again for sure. Have a wonderful time. We have sky princess vlogs up. She is a beautiful ship and has a huge buffet. Every day there is one line in the buffet that has a specific theme. We found that the best spot! Have a great cruise! Hugs!

We will be back on Carnival in a few weeks! Panorama! Yes, Princess is under the Carnival umbrella. I think the food is better on Princess, maybe just more choices? I have never had an issue with Carnival's foods.. Guy's is much better than any burger on any ship for me anyway. Hugs!

We really enjoy your videos. When you did the back to back on Mardi Gras, did you have to get off the ship and then get back on? Or do you just stay on the ship?

Hi! Each ship handles a B2B slightly differently. We ( all the Back to backers - it was a large group) walked off the ship with an officer, through customs and then walked right back on the ship. Prior to that we were given new sail and sign cards. That was it.. the whole process from meeting in the dining room to completion took about an hourish? very easy! If you are staying in the same cabin you do not need to pack..

You will have an amazing time! We LOVED our time there.. wish it was longer and yes they provided the noodles and floats! That was a welcome surprise. The floats are the kind with two bar floats and the net in between so you can sit and float or lay back or what ever.. they are great! I hope you have an abundance of sunshine and a wonderful time. Do you have any suggestions or tricks to help someone like me not get the dreaded cruise crude? I just got off the Dream and I'm miserable. Do you book your excursions though the cruise ship. Or do you do third party. I've always booked through the cruise ship, but I travel solo a lot and kinda leary of a third party in a whole different country

We do both but if I were traveling solo I would likely do the same as you. I'm sure solo travelers book private excursion all the time without issue but for me I prefer a group I'm familiar with when I am solo. Hugs!

The resort was playing the music. Not something we love but others seem to prefer it. Even with the music it was a lively day!

Did the Bungalow have a bathroom near by?

Yes! Not on the bungalow pier but on the beach itself. You walked to the end of the pier and crossed the sand to the little bath house. So about 50 feet from the end of the pier. They were clean but dark inside. They got the job done! Hugs!

Hi. It was too deep to stand for sure. Rob guessed about 8-10 feet in front of the bungalows. They provided floats and pool noodles. On a clear day I bet snorkeling would be great! Hugs!
