Ruby is in a way more intense than Aqua ever was,he is more like Ai when it comes to lying and manipulating he lies but always tries to offer a two way benefit to the people he manipulates directing the fallout onto himself he truly doesn't want to hurt anyone,same way Ai lied to her fans but she geniunely wanted to love them so she put on an act leaving only the burden of hiding her true self which she considers a disgusting liar who hates everyone to herself(her words) Ruby however (minor spoilers) She manipulates people for her own gain and creates drama just to boost her popularity making it so she isn't directly involved diverting the blame away from herself so she like her father can say "it wasn't my fault I didn't do anything" they're instigators who dodge blame Ruby never became as intense as he did but if it weren't for her mental turmoil and having Aqua she would've liked ended up similar to him
