Ruby's Letter 1933

My mother Ruby Delgatty came to faith in Christ during revival services in the 1920,s and subsequently enroll in a bible collage. The first year she was at the College she sacrificed her Christmas holidays and took a train to the Fisher River Cree Indian Reservation north of Winnipeg. Here she spent her vacation singing and preaching the gospel. She wrote about her trip in a letter. Being inspired by her letter I wrote a song about her thoughts during the two weeks at the Indian Reservation.
