Thanks to you and this strat I was able to take him down on turn 7 just like you! It took 11 resets just to get him to sleep. I replaced Windgate with Falco, Kouren with Lars, and Olberic with Fiore EX (made it trivial). I even got semi-nerfed when the dragon wind-swapped Lars with Hayes, but it really didn't affect anything as I still way overkilled him by turn 7. Really it just took sleeping the dragon.. Thanks so much!

Can I replace Hayes with Gertrude? 🧐 I think I will be losing some debuffs (right?) But it should do the trick...?
@EmpyreanSky Жыл бұрын
That sort of defeats the purpose of Hayes in this comp. His role is to break the enemy and impart his passive 20% defense down effect. Gertrude doesn't perform that role. If Hayes is the only one you are missing, an easy swap would be to place Barrad behind Kouren instead, have Richard initiate the break, allowing Kouren to deal damage twice in break. The damage will be a little lower, but you should be fine within the 7 turns.

@@EmpyreanSky damn that's a great passive. I thought he was just there to break bc I didn't knew about his passive. But thanks for the advise, I will try to defeat it this week or when I have some free time

xP I've had a few of these "I can't see the frgin pixel left!" moments as well 😂 One trick you can use in this fight is to start alfyn at 1hp. He'll gain back a bit of it over the course of staying in the back, but he'll still stay low enough for his damage to be boosted quite substantially on turn 6 when he uses his ult. Enough to guarantee that KO :P It was fun to plan and watch this clear with you btw, and stay frosty (so that you can avoid the hellfire sunburn maybe!)

Hahah xD yeah my skin is permanently damaged. Thanks again for your help! Also nice to see your channel finally taking its proper handle! :D Also also: A2 didn't crit at all on turn 5 despite having 30% crit up. I am sure it would have worked if she did. In the end I thought it was more fun to watch, keeping that pixel-wide sliver of health x)

Very good clear although high chance to inflict sleep is a big fat lie, out of 10 tries it only hit 1-2 times for me. As of right now, I will keep waiting until I got better units.
@EmpyreanSky Жыл бұрын
Indeed. I heard that the base chance of the "high chance" sleeps are 40%. While the Dragon has some resistance which reduces it to roughly 20% (Edit: no the dragon does in fact have no natural resistance, so the full 40% should apply). Now imagine if you went with TWO sleep procs: that would be 40%*40% = 16% chance, just for the sleep to proc. I don't understand players who like to play that way. Even this video I made with quite a bit of internal resistance.

It’s also incorrect in game, the news states that it’s supposed to be a moderate chance.
@EmpyreanSky Жыл бұрын
@@bradyschwenter2728 Is that so? I only saw the correction for the Bewitching Dancer with went from "very high" to just "high".

Actually, funnily enough Ruby Dragon is one of the few lvl 100 NPC's that has 0% innate ailment resistance. You can test this yourself, but you need a bigger sample size than just 10 trials (just spam Ophilia heal or something while spamming sleeps and count how many times it procs). After Muttering Codger and Old Storyteller who also have 0% innate ailment resistance, all the other lvl 100 NPC's have had 20% resistance, while Lvl 100 Adventurer and her Fox partner have had 17% resistance (don't ask me why they made it 17% specifically >:D )
@EmpyreanSky Жыл бұрын
@@PrimismyEX Wow! I must have been really unlucky then! In the past 20 attempts or so it's procced about 2-3 times.
