@@oldlostminer Have you watched any of the posts of Nevada Ghost Towns and Beyond by Tami. She visits many of the ghost towns that are in conjunction with your old lost mines. She tells their stories and takes pictures. She is good and informative.

Missing a lot of history in the video... The cave ins, the re-working of the tailings in the 70s and 80s, the fact that the hill is hollowed out completely... It's actually terrifying to be on that hill when you peer down a hole and realize there is nothing under you except about 10 to 20 feet of rock ceiling over 950 feet of inky black nothingness, with the occasional rock pillar holding one side of the hill from collapsing on its counterpart. The cave ins are like giant ant lion traps so big you can see them on Google Earth. Fun fact: my grandmother was the last official resident of Ruby. Creepy fact: I have seen the sculls of the shopkeepers, and they are nowhere near the bodies...
