Rucking Moonville Rail Trail! Howdy Folks! "Rucking" has become a fairly popular for of exercise for Veterans and citizens alike. It's a great way to stay fit even when your just "Rucking" around your neighborhood. We all can't get away to the woods to backpack and finding quick and easy locations to "Ruck" has become the norm. This video will focus on me "Rucking" a section of the Moonville Rail Trail in Zaleski State Forest in Vinton County Ohio.

what a great video more of these with history and countryside please. our old rail networks are paved too smooth so no fun walking and nearly lever to boot. all fun gone from the walks climbing etc as fenced out of bounds or keep out. keep up the fitness brother asyou never know when its needed.

The locks on the fence on the bridge are called "love locks". From wikipedia "A love lock or love padlock is a padlock that couples lock to a bridge, fence, gate, monument, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love.[1] Typically the sweethearts' names or initials, and perhaps the date, are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away (often into a nearby river) to symbolize unbreakable love. Since the 2000s, love locks have proliferated at an increasing number of locations worldwide. They are treated by some municipal authorities as litter or vandalism, and there is some cost to their removal. However, there are other authorities who embrace them, and who use them as fundraising projects or tourist attractions. " There's a few people in the lock sport community (competition lock picking) who organise events and go around and clear them off which often has people very angry at this, but they put a lot of strain on the structures they're placed on over time and in larger numbers and can cause issues with corrosion etc.

Looks like a nice area for a scenic ruck 😀 I'm doing a fundraiser ruck for a ministry on March 10th. It won't be as scenic as that but location for area turnout had to be a consideration. Mind if I send you some info about it (mostly the ministry but about the ruck event too since its got satellite events like the one I'm doing)?
