Rude Buster - MEOWSynth Mix

Quick PSA for those finding my videos late: Please use headphones when listening to my earlier mixes. MEOWSynth (At least in the ways I have been using it) is very bassy: And as a result ( when combined with KZbin compression) none of these mixes sound "The Best" when listening to them on phone speakers or with cheep earbuds. Some of the drivers in these devices are very small, and either phisically cannot produce these low end frequencies, or require more power than designed for, to do so; resulting in accelerated deterioration, and potential damage to the drivers. I have had to replace plenty more 1$ dirty buds than I care to admit due to listening to bassy music on high volumes. If you like these videos, please spare yourself the pocket change/minor incovience by investing in the alternative form of listinging of your choice.

@@silverseth7 Good ear. A side effect of starting the song two measures late, so the midi lines up with the timeline. Its a bit unnecessary but I guess I let my OCD get the better of me for a bit lol.

For anyone wondering what's the DAW, it's LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio, but it's also available for Windows). I've used it sometimes, but croping and moving tracks is very awkward compared to FL Studio, so I usually used it in conjunction with Audacity

Toby Fox is a big musical inspiration for me, he makes a lot of music that tickles my brain in just the right way. There are a lot of techniques he uses I find interesting, primarily his use of leitmotifs, and other compositional devices.

Yeah, I know I mention it around the comments alot, but the poor mixing causes it to only really be tolerable on a pair of semi bass'y headphones. Most other speakers, like the ones in mobile phones cause it to sound very compressed and crunchy. That is unless you like the cats sounding like dogs :)
