It's the ending for Samurai Champloo. Not so much underrated, as it is just kind of old.

Shiki no Uta yes It’s a jazz rendition of it done by another group of people (look up shiki no uta jazz, should be some black dudes who do it, one on sax) and then added with beats. I believe, I could be wrong
@juanfep.p8563 жыл бұрын
@@Astroryx you're correct. The jazz cover was made by The Brotet. In my opinion, that cover is better than the original song, but both interpretations are astonishing and are pretty enjoyable.

@@juanfep.p856 I (blessed) haven’t seen a bad cover of this song. It’s honestly an astonishing song, and the brotet really did an amazing job on the song
@juanfep.p8563 жыл бұрын
@@Astroryx I totally agree with you. And most curious is that Shiki no Uta is a cover of Beat Laments the world by Nujabes. It's just a marvelous piece of art 😉
@Astroryx3 жыл бұрын
@@juanfep.p856 I’ll have to thank you for putting me onto Beat Laments. I didn’t even know that it was a cover the entire time, but the song is absolutely amazing (listening while typing this out to you family), it’s like a commentor by the name of SienttAlive said: If you take Beat Laments, and add Minmi, it becomes Shiki no Uta, and if you do the opposite as in taking Minmi off Shiki no Uta, it’s like it just becomes Beat Laments. Not to the absolute T of course, but the comment did look nice & I wanted to share it. Blessings to you my man.

Eli Valdez Same traditional Japanese pentatonic progression. Zun uses it for a lot of Touhou songs (including Bad Apple).
