Hi Rudi...good one. Interesting that Next DC is one of your 5 year holds but you dismissed Nividia. May I suggest you read Beth Kindig analysis of NVDA. She has been right so far and ahead of the curve....predicting it will become the largest company in the world by 2030.

Hi Hannah, did not! If you listen carefully, all I am saying is Nvidia is probably not an All-Weather Performer, but it's obviously okay to invest in Megatrends, as I also state elsewhere in the interview. As a matter of fact, I don't think NextDC is an All-Weather either, but I own it and am holding with conviction, because it is a strong beneficiary of the ruling Megatrend. I am well aware of Beth Kindig's research and it's one reason why I tend to push back to all opinions out there about bubbles etc. Glad we straightened this out! ;)

The car vs horse and carriage analogy does not work imo. The automobile industry was obviously the future, however most car manufacturers went out of business. I think Buffett presented the list at some point. Could be similar in this AI mania? Enjoyed the interview thankyou, however, i will stick to value 😅

Plus also, and this was the real point I was trying to get across, while the future of automobile companies won't be beer and skittles only for the next 100 years, the producers of carriages (trading on ever lower multiples) WILL go out of business. It's but a matter of time

@@rudifilapek-vandyck8414 I understand, with a lower PE that will reflect that consensus. If the consensus now becomes "value investing is dead", that will just harden my resolve to stick to my fundamentals.

AI doesnt know beyond what we know. Investing is more about human behaviour and anyone who thinks he can model that complex behaviour * future financial economics of a company is worlds biggest fool😊

I guess that makes me one of the fools who believe that picking High Quality compounders, and sticking by them, is the safest strategy for wealth creation through the share market ;)
