Interesting how he doesn’t even teach the arm going between the legs like is usually taught in America, really shows that this moves power is all in the shoulder.

Even a headlock is a “head and arm.” Most throws, even peterson’s and rolls are essential arm throws

Very Judo esque Kata Garuma, I am beginning to see that Sambo/Judo influence in Eastern wrestling styles. Damn, stuff really does carry over, love to see how they are all practically the same type
@aj_and_ej Жыл бұрын
More like wrestling influence in judo no offence, sambo came from a wrestling base and added judo and JJ not the other way around. It’s history you can’t change, Soviet wrestling always had these techniques and so did catch wrestling and wrestling. Judo guys lack flexibility because the get used to pulling on the gi and never have develop as much footwork. It’s good if u are wearing a gi but almost all techniques are unusable with no gI because you have to take extra step and be more like water where judo guys tend to be more stiff. Wrestling forces you to develop as a athlete a lot more!

@@aj_and_ejwhy do people say this? In real life people wear clothes. You can still use judo techniques

@@hellotcautiver because people where tank tops, tshirt (no sleeves!) and cheap, easily torn clothing.
