He his so clever, playing around with the bag. And so sure, he will get the treats 🥕🥕🥕

He's so smart. He knows the bag has to be shaken to get them out but knows he needs you to open it.

Sometimes I think he’s far smarter than we even realize - he’s just hiding it until we least expect it 😂

It is obvious that Rudnik is not going to eat the plastic almost immediately. He's so focused on opening the bag to get to the beloved carrots and is also having fun playing with it. He knows Mom or B will give him the carrots eventually, lol. He's truly clever and intelligent!

It’s almost like he knows exactly where to bite it to make it most likely to open - unfortunately it seems the ziploc is actually working for once 😂

He's patiently messing with it because he knows one of you will give him his beloved carrots. ❤

“Maybe if I stall long enough they’ll just do it for me”’ is the real intelligence behind it

Rudnick is pretty smart to figure out he needed to shake the bag to get at the carrots. 🥕🥕🐎🐎🥰

Give Rudnik his carrots please - his personality is awesome

in a way that's pretty good advertising for zip lock baggies 😹😸😹

RIGHT! That’s what I said too 😂 why trust Ziploc? Because it’ll still stay sealed even when a hungry horse is shaking it around like crazy

Merry Christmas all - and the little one who has yet to join us.

You ought to see if he would play with one of those screaming chicken toys. I've seen videos of other horses shaking the snot out of those things and you just can't help but giggle.

🤪🤣🐎 this horse I swear if Rudnik were human I feel like he’d have his own comedy show!! The way he’s vigorously shaking the bag then when that’s not getting the carrots 🥕 out he’s actively trying different ways to problem solve which I find SO cool the boy is extremely smart;and yes he’s right getting mom or dad to use their thumbs to do it for you is the easiest way!!😂Another thing:for some who may think “why sit there & watch him do it & not just hand it to him”? It’s a fantastic mental exercise bc he actually has to think about what he’s doing plus it also means he doesn’t immediately scarf the treat down. I think it would be amazing if you bought a couple snuffle mats for Rudnik & put some of his food in there, there’s also some great puzzles/treat balls that may be fun for him to work on(same kind you’d use for a dog)Outward Hound & Nina Ossten(I think that’s how the last name is spelled)have some awesome puzzle balls/feeders of varying challenge levels online that are really good to use. I bought 2 Outward Hound slow feeders for my big dogs to slow their eating down especially my boy bc we were at a point where he’d inhale a full meal & not 5 minutes after go outside & barf the entire thing up again so the feeders really help sometimes I’ll add additional stuff like peanut butter which requires more licking & takes him a good 20 minutes to work on.🖤💙🐎

What does a boy have to do to get a carrot around here huh? I'm cute, I'm sassy, gimme the carrots!

Hey, Rudnik likes carrots almost as much as my Dobermann Anneke does. LOL. From Ruth in Australia (where it's going to be 30 degrees Celsius today!!) MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas to you as well! Wow! That’s HOT! It’s going to be a warm Christmas here too! Sunny but only 6c for us. Still quite warm though. Rudnik is a little higher altitude though so at least he’ll get a white Christmas 😂

I was worried that he would eat the bag. I'm curious about how old he was when he was gelded. He hold his tail up like a stallion when he goes into his trot.

Unlikely a little bit of plastic would hurt him

What's the point of having pet humans if they're not going to give you carrots when you demand them, eh Rudnick?! You've worked so hard, and been so patient with these two servants and they STILL can't take a hint! I feel your pain, buddy!
@mikeburnett70285 сағат бұрын
Why do you make him work so hard for the carrots? That’s like cutting your hands off then someone offering you a steak. It’s mean to me.
