That is very easy to pretend to be Catholic. A person can be a vicious murderer and yet proclaim to the world what a loving Christian he or she is. The Spanish Inquisition was performed by clergy who pretended to follow Christ, but they committed acts that were nothing short of torture and murder. Obviously Jesus would have been quite angry at them.

@@sabine4759 No, I'm asking for undeniable documented evidence, not witness testimony, that's always biased. As to his written confessions, they were obtained under torture as one of his interrogators, Rupert Butler admitted in his book 'Legions of Death', p.236.

Itś a complete miracle to me how someone could play down the witnesses statements( Eichmanns trial, Auschwitz-trials in Germany 1963-65 etc.) not to speak the millions of victims during and after the war! The "Ethnic cleansings and massacers in the occupied countries, the extermination camps.... How could someone have any doubt about this? Höss himself wrote an explanation about the extermination process and during his trial he admitted what he had done and showed no remorse! So you want to tell people all of this Nazi perpetrators had been "tortured" , so they wrote false statements?? Come on, this is so ridiculous! Ohlsdorf, another Nazi who was responsible for the massacers in Poland and Russia stated in Nuremberg that he was concerned about the soldiers who shot women, children and elderly people , they would snap but he felt not sorry for the victims! Itś a scandal that this doings would be still denied by far right people who don 't want to see how evil this regime was! My Granny expierenced the Third Reich and sometimes when we watched a movie about the Holocaust she said that it was far worse as shown in TV!
