RUDRABHISHEK - Best Shiv abhishek to be performed at home

|| OM NAMAH SHIVAY ||
The Shiv abhishek was performed on my birthday this year. Every year I make sure that on my special day I at least spend an hour praying, chanting mantras and wishing for the year ahead.
Because of lockdown, I could not go to any temple and hence with all the things available at home and the nearby essential shop I was able to do this Rudrabhishek at my heart's content and it went on for around 4 hours!

This is what I did, and you can too, to perform the best Rudrabhishek at home:
I took a bath and wore "Sovala", dhoti and the gamcha to be worn immediately after you take a bath and your body is wet.
Without touching anything and anyone around I sat for the pooja.
Took the Shiv ling from the worship place at home.
Following are the things and the order in which the abhishek was performed:
Jal - Water
Doodh - Milk
Dahi - Curd
Ghee - Clarified butter
Madh - Honey
Panchamrut - mixing all of the five mentioned above
Chandan powder - Sandalwood powder
Ittar - scent
Again with water.
Keep shiv ling on a new cloth for the Sthaapna.
Offer the following on the shiv ling after wiping it with a clean cloth.
Vastra - Thread
Janeyu - White thread
Bhasm - Ash
Abir - Black colored gulaal
Chana daal -
Kala moong -
Hara moong -
lit diyas, dhoop and incense sticks.
Perform Shiv aarti.
I kept chanting "Om namah shivay" and "Mahamrityunjay mantra" while doing the abhishek.
Post shiv aarti I read "Shiv Sahasranama - 1008 names of lord shiva"
