You should just ensure that there are no insects or bacteria in the bead, just soak it overnight in regular water. If it is infested the insects will come out. By the color of the bead you can judge how old it is. If it is very dark brown or black then it means that it was harvested long ago so you would need any expert to check the bead or you can get an xray to see if the bead is healthy from inside.

I've recently received 3 bracelets that I ordered from your site: 4 Mukhi Bracelet, 5 Mukhi bracelet and 2 Mukhi bracelet. As they are srtrung in a sequential manner, I'm still trying to figure out how the sequence of particular Mukhi beads should be worn on the wrist: "base of the bead - tip of the bead" sequence clockwise when I look at my wrist or "tip of the bead - base of the bead" sequence clockwise when I look at my wrist. Following the instructions provided with the bracelets and the ring/arrow on each bracelet, I've ended up with the "tip of the bead - base of the bead" sequence clockwise. Do I wear right?

You have to wear the 2 and 4 mukhi bracelets on the right hand and the 5 mukhi on the left hand if you are right handed by birth. The arrow should point in the right direction.

@@Sakhashree Please, clarify if the arrow on the 4 Mukhi bracelet should point in the right direction meaning AWAY from the right part of the body or TOWARDS the right part of the body? Thank you.

I have one more question: is it necessary that the bracelets on one hand (in my case 2 and 4 Mukhi bracelets) are placed in the order similar to the number of Mukhis, i.e. first goes 2 Mukhi bracelet, second goes 4 Mukhi bracelet, etc., or it doesn't matter in what sequence the bracelets go one after another? To live a healthier life eat only Veg, but eating any type of food doesnt affect the energy/working of the Rudraksha if you are wearing it
