Moovance presents... Turista, a suprising trip with Rudy Goddin 🧳
Rudy Goddin, Actor-Traveler. He has a malleable face, a jack-of-all-trades, curious about the world, he has roamed through theaters and street festivals around the globe... Actor, author, musician, clown, mime, he prides himself on being a Swiss Army knife artist, but Belgian.
In his early performances, he started with verbal language, texts in French. Classical and contemporary authors... Fascinated by Chaplin and Keaton, and, as he traveled, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and English-all these languages he had learned along the way mingled with French, so it was natural for him to embrace non-verbal language.
His main approach is to perform his shows worldwide, travel to get inspired, and then create to be able to travel. To talk about his experiences, encounters, and discoveries. He notes everything in a notebook, transcribes it upon his return, and gradually injects the artistic form. He then surrounds himself with professionals (director, scenographer, musician, costume designer...) to create the final show.
