Have ridden with and loved Rudy Project glasses for decades. In the past 3 years started wearing progressive glasses and sooooo wished I had stumbled across this video sooner. Thank you!!

This is really an excellent video. Seeing both the view through the lens and how dark it looks on your face is very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I do trail riding, often on heavily forested trails so I plan to get the photochromic clear to red lens, plus a smoke lens for more general purpose use. Thanks again Daniel.

I’m glad you got something out of it! I also like the Photochromic clear to Brown on the trails, but I have worn both brown and red and both are great.

Great review with precise explanations. Which lens will be good for golf on sunny days? Thank you.

Great video! So if I want to get the Rydon for bicycling and for driving then I don't want to go with the photochromic lens because its UV activated and car windows and windshields block UV. Best to get to get the Polar 3FX HDR multilaser blue and racing red lens.

Yes. That would be a good setup for driving and for cycling as far as lenses go. Although sometimes depending on how I’m dressed the Rydon frame feels a little too sporty for me so I like a more casual dress frame when I’m not running and cycling.

Superb review and great insight. I love your 'real world' experience. Rudy would be lucky to have you as an ambassador.👍👍👍👍 Question: if red photochromic lenses are best for contrast, why do Rudy seem to advertise/sell more of they grey type? I'm thinking of buying some Rudy Tralyx photochromic laser red, but they seem to have a lower profile than the grey type.🤔🤔

Thank you! I do not know why they would favor the Grey in promotion. Maybe Grey is more popular, but in my opinion all those Grey lens wearing athletes don’t know what they’re missing if they haven’t tried red.

i have a rather round and large face, i often ride moto so should i choose rydon or rydon running for this purpose, thanks very much!!!

You should choose the original Rydon frame, not the slim. The Rydon frame is available in classsic shape and a running shape. The only difference is the lens is slightly larger and is vented. You might also look at the new Magnus frame.

Hi! Do you think that is ok with a lens C2 protection? Or it´s better a C3 one? I feel my eyes tired. Thanks for your time
@seeingclearly2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Category 2 or 3 relate to darkness, which is protects from brightness, but does not relate to UV protection. Choosing lens darkness is more of a personal preference. If category 2 does not feel dark enough for you then try a 3.

Great video. Will they be good for basketball and gyms? Will they not fall off the head during intense movements and when the face will be wet?
@seeingclearly4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! They are great for almost any sport, and they do not slip even when wet with sweat. I’ve worn them through five full marathons and through countless training hours during the summer sweating profusely.

@@seeingclearly and maybe you used rudy project rydon Slim? What are the main differences between rudy project rydon?
@seeingclearly4 жыл бұрын
@@Matt-tk9dt The main difference is the size. The slim is slightly smaller, otherwise it is the same. I believe there are not as many lens color options in the slim, but there are still plenty of good colors to choose from.
