Rudyard Lake Steam Railway Steam Gala 2014

I've been around the lake a few times with camera clubs, but never seen a train in operation, but am amazed at the number of locomotives they have. I must look out for the next extravaganza.

Hi Michael, The Isle of Mull event is held on 8th and 9th July followed by the main event of the year The Steam Gala on 16th and 17th September.

Its a very popular Railway set in beautiful scenery and runs along the side of Rudyard Lake but unfortunately that's not really seen in the video. You are quite right the Locos are always immaculate and the guys that operate the Railway are a really happy,friendly bunch.

That is very true but I'm glad to say The Leek & Rudyard Railway as they are known now held their Re-Opening Mini Gala today after being closed for almost 6 months for major reconstruction.
