I am born and bred a couple of miles from the lake. Rudyard Kipling got his name because his parents holidayed here.

Nice to see rudyard lake again over 40 years since I fished it HarrySettle Alan Mcatee and the likes were fishing it then ,one match the water was so high we fished off the old railway line

Takes me back seeing ya there tommy...i remember you fishing a north versus south match many years ago..in the 70's i believe ...needless to say the southerners came 2nd ! I dont think i have ever seen as much bloodworm and joker come out of the back of a van since. there was loads of the stuff. Great days them watching you with the likes of the great ivan marks on the bank as well..bet ya dont remember that match !! But good luck for t.mow . 👌

Has a local. I believe you were all fishing to short.. 40 _ 50 meters. Fill it in plus loads of pellet. Two pieces of worm. The rest is history
